Tracking internal user accounts

Content Server creates several user accounts created for internal or system administration purposes. Usage tracking ignores these accounts, when these accounts are used to access Content Server. For example, EMC Asset Management & Planning (AMP) accesses the usage data in the global registry using the account for dm_report_user, and Content Servers connect to the global registry Content Server using the dm_bof_registry user in order to retrieve the common information supplied by the global registry. These users are not recorded when they log in to Content Server. The Content Server installation owner account is also ignored when logging into Content Server.

However, if these accounts are used to log in to an application, the application login is recorded. For example, if the installation owner account is used to log in to Webtop, there is a record of the Webtop login but no record of a Content Server login.
