The Consistency Checker tool scans the repository and reports any inconsistencies such as type or object corruption, objects that reference a user, group, or other object that does not exist in the repository, and so forth. The consistency checker does not fix any of the inconsistencies. Contact Documentum Technical Support for assistance in correcting errors found by the consistency checker.

It is recommended that you run this tool on a repository before upgrading the repository to a new version of the Documentum Server.

The Consistency Checker job is active by default and is set to run once a day.
