You can remove users from the repository, but Documentum strongly recommends making users inactive or reassigning them rather than deleting them from the repository.
When you delete a user, the server does not remove the users name from objects in the repository such as groups and ACLs. Consequently, when you delete a user, you must also remove or change all references to that user in objects in the repository. To reassign objects to another user, use the instructions in Reassigning objects to another user.
You can delete a user and then create a user with the same name. If you add a new user with the same name as a deleted user and have not removed references to the deleted user, the new user inherits the group membership and object permissions belonging to the deleted user.
You cannot delete the repository owner, installation owner, or yourself.
To delete users:
Navigate to Administration > User Management > Users.
Select the users to delete by checking the check boxes next to their names.
Select File > Delete.
Click Finish.
