A BOCS content caching job does the following:
Creates and schedules a job to collect a set of documents based on a query.
Creates caching requests for the documents with the BOCS destination information where the documents need to be.
Sends caching requests to DMS on a predetermined schedule.
Any user type can create a BOCS caching job. DQL queries for BOCS caching jobs are not validated by Documentum Administrator.
To create a BOCS caching job:
Navigate to Administration > Job Management > Jobs.
The Jobs list page appears.
Select File > New > BOCS Caching Job.
The New BOCS Caching Job page displays with the Info tab selected.
Enter basic information for the BOCS caching job on the Info tab, as described in Table 7.3.
Click the Schedule tab and enter schedule information for the BOCS caching job, as described in Table 7.4.
Click the Caching Rules tab and enter caching information for the BOCS caching job, as described in Table 7.9.
Click the SysObject Info tab and enter Sysobject information for the BOCS caching job, as described in Creating, viewing, or modifying SysObject properties.
Click Finish to save your changes.
