Changing the schedule of a job

Use these instructions to modify a job schedule, whether the job is a standard job, replication job, remove expired retention objects job, BOCS caching job, records migration job, or job sequence. Schedule each job to run with a frequency that meets your business needs. If a job is installed in the inactive state, change its status on the Job Properties - Info page.

Warning

Set up the schedules for replication jobs so that jobs for the same target repository do not run at the same time. Running replication jobs simultaneously to the same target repositories causes repository corruption.

To change a job schedule:

  1. Connect to the repository and navigate to Job Management > Jobs.

The system displays the Jobs list page.

  2. Locate the job whose schedule you want to change.

  3. Select the job and then select View > Properties > Info.

The system displays the Job Properties - Info page.

  4. Click the Schedule tab.

  5. Change the job schedule as described in Table 7.4.

  6. Click OK.
