Disabling the workflow agent stops the execution of automatic activities. To disable the workflow agent, set the workflow agent worker threads property in the server configuration properties to 0. For more information about the server configuration properties, refer to Modifying general server configuration information.

Stop and restart Content Server for the change to take effect. Reinitializing the server does not make the change effective.
