The number of worker sessions available to execute automatic activities is controlled by the workflow agent worker threads property value in the server configuration properties. By default, this value is set to 3. You can reset the value to any positive number to a maximum of 1000. For more information about the server configuration properties, refer to Modifying general server configuration information.

You must stop and restart Content Server for your change to take effect. Reinitializing the server does not make the change effective.
