Designating connection brokers for an ACS server

Connection broker projections are configured in the Connection Broker Projections section of the ACS Server Configurations page.

To designate a connection broker for an ACS server:

  1. Connect with superuser privileges to the repository in which you want to view or modify the connection broker.

  2. Select Administration > Configuration > ACS Servers.

  3. Select the ACS server to view or modify, select View > Properties > Info and click the Projections & Stores tab.

  4. Enter the information for the connection broker, as described in Table 3.5.

  5. Click OK.

  6. Restart the ACS server.

The ACS server runs in the same servlet container as the Documentum Java method server. You must manually restart the Java method server on the host where it is installed. You cannot restart the Java Method Server from Documentum Administrator.

Refer to the Content Server Installation Guide for instructions on stopping and starting the Java method server.
