Viewing or modifying the ACS server configuration properties

Use these instructions to view or modify information on the ACS Server Configuration Properties page.

To view or modify ACS servers configuration properties:

  1. Connect as a superuser to the repository in which you want to view or modify the ACS server.

  2. Select Administration > Configuration > ACS Servers.

    The ACS Servers Configurations list page appears.

  3. Select the ACS server to view or modify and then select View > Properties > Info.

    The ACS Server Configuration Properties - Info page appears.

  4. View or modify properties in the ACS Server Configuration section, as described in Table 3.3.

  5. Click the Projections & Stores tab to view or modify the connection broker projections, network locations, and local stores information for the ACS server, as described in ACS projections and stores.

  6. Click OK to save your changes.

  7. Restart the ACS server.

    The ACS server runs in the same servlet container as the Documentum Java method server. You must manually restart the Java method server on the host where it is installed. You cannot restart the Java Method Server from Documentum Administrator.

    Refer to the Content Server Installation Guide for instructions on stopping and starting the Java method server.

ACS Server Configuration

 

Name

The name that is assigned to the ACS server during the Content Server installation. The name cannot be modified.

Associated Content Server

The name of the Content Server the ACS server is associated with.

Description

A description of the ACS server.

ACS Server Version

The major and minor version of the ACS server.

The ACS server version indicates the underlying repository version.

Valid values:

  • 2.1 - Specifies that the ACS server is part of a Documentum version 6.5 SPx repository.

  • 2.2 - Specifies that the ACS server is part of a Documentum version 6.6 to 6.6 (Patch 21) repository.

  • 2.3 - Specifies that the ACS server is part of a Documentum version 6.6 (Patch 22) to 7.0 repository.

Dormancy Status

Indicates the dormancy status of ACS server.

Note

The Dormancy Status label is only visible for 7.0 and later versions of repositories.

Content Access

Specifies how the ACS server can access content. Valid values are:

  • Access all stores: The ACS server can access all stores that are connected to the Content Server.

  • Access local stores only: The ACS server can read content from local file stores in the repository.

  • None (disabled): The ACS server is disabled.

  

ACS Server Connections

 

Protocol

The protocol the ACS server uses. Valid values are http and https. Click Add to add a protocol, or select a protocol from the list and click Edit to modify it or Delete to remove the protocol.

Base URL

The base URL for the ACS server. The base URL requires the following format: 
protocol://host:port/ACS/servlet/ACS
